Things are going well on the InterFuse 2009 front. Team Leads (like Gate, Parking, InterRangers, Effigy, Leisure Army) are already organizing and recruiting, the website is being prepped, and ticket work is underway. We're definately in first gear. The next step is getting everyone jazzed to create and participate in every possible way at the InterFuse 2009 Kickoff! The event basics are below. Johnny's Tavern Overland Park, Kansas It's time to kickoff the 2009 Burn season with good drinks, good food, and good Burner company at Johnny's Tavern in Overland Park, Kansas. We're simplifying things this year. Instead of eating at one place and then moving to another for drinks, we've combined things in a single establishment. Johnny's has a full menu, two full bars, and plenty of parking. We've reserved Johnny's back room so there's plenty of space and tables for a large gathering. Just tell the door greeter you're looking for Midwest Burners. The InterFuse Kickoff has become a yearly, informal tradition where we kick around new InterFuse ideas, hash out art concepts, plan theme camps, discuss camping arrangements and meet new friends. If it's about InterFuse, it's fair game. Bring paper and pen.
